Caring for your coconut shell bowl is important as it is a 100% natural product. 

Follow these basic care instructions to ensure a long lasting coconut bowl.

**Wash**

Hand wash with lukewarm soapy water.

Do not use in the dishwasher, wash in very hot water or soak for a long period of time.

**USE**

The bowls are suitable for both cool and warm foods, but, the bowls are best suited to room temperature and cool foods.

For warmer foods to ensure durability, prepare your bowl for the change in temperature by first rinsing your bowl in lukewarm water and sit aside until dry.

HOT FOODS ON RARE OCCASIONS CAN CAUSE THE BOWLS TO CRACK... and we don't want this to happen to these pretty bowls...

Can my coconut bowl go in the microwave, oven or refrigerator?

once again being a completely natural product and sensible to harsh and quick change of temperature the bowls cannot be used in microwaves, ovens or refrigerators. 

**Tips**

Polish with virgin coconut oil (or an oil of your choice) every 10 or so uses to restore your coconut bowls smooth and shiny surface, while resealing its pores.

Because coconut bowls are a product of nature, their durability cannot always be predicted.
